Location<\/b>: Home Based with regular travel to multiple care homes in Cumbria

Salary: <\/b>£34,000 per annum <\/b>plus £6000 car allowance

Their Operational Trainers play a key part in ensuring the continued delivery of Good and Outstanding care, as they ensure every member of staff is confident and competent in their ability to work in a person -centred and compassionate manner.
<\/p>


<\/p>

As an Operational Trainer, you will be responsible for providing induction and development training to multiple homes across a specific region. As one of the initial points of contact between our client and a new member of staff, our client's Trainers should demonstrate a passion for their role and their ethos. This varied position will provide the opportunity to witness the skilled progression of staff from their first day, throughout their career.

This is a home -based position that will involve regular travel around Cumbria.
<\/p>


<\/p>

The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and/or experience:<\/b>
<\/p>

  • C&G 7300 (or equivalent)
    <\/li>
  • Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care
    <\/li>
  • Working knowledge of legislative requirements in the care sector
    <\/li>
  • Training experience in the Health Care sector
    <\/li>
  • Full UK driving licence (Essential)
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Key Responsibilities will include:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Coordination and delivery of induction and development training against our client's objectives and training statistics
      <\/li>
    • Provide practical, hands -on training across a variety of subjects
      <\/li>
    • Plan and publish training calendars
      <\/li>
    • Ensure employee training files are up to date
      <\/li>
    • Observe workplace practice
      <\/li>
    • Deliver a seamless induction process for all new employees
      <\/li>
    • Maintain regular contact with new team members, coaching and supporting them where appropriate
      <\/li>
    • Attend meetings and conferences external to the home where required
      <\/li>
    • Promote learning and development opportunities that our client offer
      <\/li>
    • Work with Home Managers to ensure the implementation of individual personal development plans
      <\/li><\/ul>
