A Role with Purpose – Where Every Day is Different

Are you looking for a meaningful role where you can make a real difference in someone’s life and enjoy every step of the journey? We’re proud to support people with learning disabilities to live happy, independent lives filled with friendship, laughter, and choice.

We’re looking for warm, kind-hearted female Healthcare Support Workers to join our lovely team in Kidwelly. Whether you’re looking for full-time hours or a more flexible part-time role, we’d love to hear from you.

Who You\'ll Be Supporting

You’ll be working with four adults, aged between 30 and 60, who live together in a friendly, welcoming bungalow. Each person has their own passions—from rugby matches and short trips away, to arts and crafts, cooking, and family time. They enjoy getting out into the community, meeting friends, and having fun—and they’d love your support to help make it happen.

What You\'ll Be Doing - Healthcare Support Worker, Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire

  • Supporting people in their everyday routines with compassion and respect
  • Helping with personal care, eating & drinking plans, and medication
  • Using hoists or wheelchairs where needed, following full training
  • Joining people on days out, road trips, or simply enjoying a cuppa together
  • Creating meaningful moments and helping them live the life they choose
  • Working as part of a dedicated team who genuinely care

You’ll also be involved in waking night shifts (10pm–7am) and sleep-ins, so some flexibility is important.

What Matters Most to Us

We’re looking for someone who truly cares—someone who brings patience, empathy, and joy to every shift. Experience in care is helpful, especially with epilepsy, behaviour support, hoisting, or complex needs, but most of all, we want someone who sees the person—not the disability.

You must be female (due to personal care needs) and hold a full UK driving licence, as the people you’ll be supporting love getting out and about.
