We are seeking a Facilities Operator (also known as a Site Services or Hygiene Operative) to join our Maintenance team at the Chirnside facility. This is a vital, hands-on role ensuring our site remains safe, compliant, and welcoming for all staff and visitors.

The Role
You will be responsible for the "look and feel" of our facility. From managing site hygiene and waste streams to ensuring our on-site guesthouse accommodation is kept to a professional standard, no two days are quite the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Hygiene: Maintain and uphold cleaning standards across the facility in line with regulatory requirements.
- Guesthouse Management: Ensure guesthouse rooms and shared areas are cleaned, tidied, and well-presented to a high standard.
- Environmental & Waste: Oversee recycling streams, ensuring correct segregation and disposal of materials while supporting environmental compliance.
- Site Upkeep: Conduct routine facility checks and support the wider maintenance team with gardening, painting, and grounds maintenance.
- Safety First: Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
What We Are Looking For
- We are interested in candidates from various backgrounds, including Facilities, Commercial Cleaning, Industrial Hygiene, or Hospitality/Housekeeping.
- Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning, facilities assistant, or site-based role.
- Knowledge: An understanding of waste management and recycling processes is a major plus.
