What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred care and practical assistance to people with a learning disability. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting people with daily living tasks – cooking, cleaning, managing money, attending appointments
- Encouraging independent living and personal development
- Providing companionship and promoting positive relationships
- Helping people access the community and social activities
- Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and medication (where required)
- Driving individuals to activities or appointments (must hold a full UK driving licence)
