Warehouse & Dispatch Operative – Part-Time
Location: Barnstaple, Devon
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week (Flexible across 4–5 days; morning starts preferred)
Looking for a reliable, stable part-time role with a friendly local business? Associated Optical is a growing UK distributor supplying specialist eyewear, low vision products, and sunglasses across the UK. Following our recent relocation to new premises in Barnstaple, we are expanding our warehouse team.
What You'll Do
- Pick & Pack: Accurately assemble customer orders for top eyewear brands (Kukuna, Eschenbach, Cocoons).
- Dispatch: Prepare outbound shipments using courier platforms like DPD and FedEx.
- Inventory Control: Receive incoming deliveries, process returns, and assist with regular stock takes.
- Maintain Standards: Ensure products are packed securely while keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organised.
What We’re Looking For
- High attention to detail and strong basic IT skills for label printing/stock tracking.
- A proactive, positive attitude and solid work ethic.
- Ability to work comfortably both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous warehouse/fulfilment experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided!
