About the Role

As a Passive Fire Stopper, you will play a key role in ensuring fire safety across a variety of buildings and settings in line with FIRAS and BM Trada standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Install ablative batt and other passive fire protection systems
  • Work in loft spaces, riser cupboards, and communal areas
  • Carry out installations to meet company, client, and accreditation standards
  • Complete job reports and documentation accurately
  • Maintain detailed records of all works completed
  • Provide professional, friendly customer service
  • Communicate effectively with management and administration teams

About You

We are looking for detail-oriented professionals with a strong work ethic and proven experience in fire stopping.

Requirements:

  • UK driving licence (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in passive fire stopping
  • At least 1 year experience working in the public sector (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (preferred, not essential)
  • FIRAS accreditation or assessment (preferred, not essential)
  • Ability to work to high standards and follow compliance procedures

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00

1-hour lunch break

Optional evening and weekend work at enhanced rates
