About the Role
As an Emergency Lighting Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing lighting systems across communal, emergency, and external environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Service and repair emergency lighting systems
- Remedial works across communal and external lighting
- Compile and maintain a register of EML assets on site
- Complete job reports and certification with accuracy
- Keep clear records of all completed works
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Communicate effectively with your manager and admin support
About You
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and has a practical understanding of emergency lighting systems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in EML testing and repairs, ideally in public sector settings
- UK driving licence (required)
- City & Guilds Level 2 or 3, or equivalent (preferred, not essential)
- Clear, professional communication skills and a proactive approach
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 - 1-hour lunch break
Weekend and evening work available at enhanced rates
