What You’ll Be Doing
This lady is creative, chatty, and highly active. You will keep her days bright and independent by:
- Engaging in arts, crafts, and community outings.
- Driving her manual mobility vehicle.
- Utilising Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches.
- Assisting with Moving & Handling (using hoists and equipment).
Because of the complexity of her needs and the importance of routine, you must have:
- Experience: Prior care experience, ideally handling complex needs and PBS.
- Mobility Skills: Hands-on experience with moving, handling, and hoisting.
- Driving: A Full UK Manual Driving Licence (essential to drive her vehicle).
- Energy: A calm, patient nature, but physically active enough to keep up with a busy routine.
