A Leading National Disability Charity is hiring passionate Support care Workers to join our team in Uckfield, East Sussex TN22
In this vital role, you will make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will support a diverse group of people with unique abilities and needs.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with essential daily activities.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, sleep-ins, and holidays.
Providing crucial emotional support.
Contracts & Structured Schedule
We offer flexibility with structured scheduling for a great work-life balance:
Full-Time Contracts: Available at 37.5 or 20 hrs + hours a week.
Mandatory Availability: All applicants must be able to work on a rota system ( FT or PT) over 7 days a week.
Shift Details: -Support Care Worker -Uckfield, East Sussex TN22
All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
Days: shift patterns between the hours of 07:00-22:00 ( 9-3, or 3 -10, etc., flexibility)
Occasional Sleep-ins, if required: 22:00 β 07:00 *There is also a sleep-in enhanced flat rate payment of Β£64.20
What We Look For In You -Support Care Worker -Uckfield, East Sussex TN22
While we provide comprehensive training, we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with:
Experience: Previous experience in care settings, mental health, or working with individuals with challenging behaviors is highly valued.
Qualifications: An NVQ, Care Certificate, or other healthcare qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Happy with performing personal care when required
