The Role

In this position, you will be the face of the company, ensuring the safety and compliance of our clients' systems. You won't just be "checking boxes"; you will be responsible for:

  • Servicing & Maintenance: Routine upkeep of various open protocol fire alarm systems.
  • Fault Finding: Diagnosing complex issues and providing efficient, long-term solutions.
  • Small Works: Carrying out minor installations and remedial works as identified during servicing.
  • System Auditing: Confidently identifying system age, condition, and any non-compliances to ensure sites meet British Standards.

Technical Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have a deep understanding of Open Protocol systems, including:

  • Panels: Advanced, Morley, Kentec, EDA, Haes, and C-TEC.
  • Wireless Technology: Previous experience with EMS and Hyfire is highly preferred.
  • Standards: A robust working knowledge of BS 5839.

What You'll Need

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years dedicated fire alarm servicing experience.
  • Licence: A full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
  • Mindset: The ability to work independently, manage your own local patch, and communicate effectively with site managers and residents.
  • Added Value: Experience with AOV systems, Emergency Lighting (EML), Fire Extinguishers, or Refuge Systems is a significant advantage.
