Hours: 38.5 hours per week

Shift times: 8am to 8pm / 8pm to 8am

ABOUT THE ROLE

£750 Golden Hello is one of the ways you will be rewarded when you join in this role. Day shifts. 38.5hrs per week. As a Residential Senior Carer, you’ll look after the different needs of our clients and residents to enable to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, which will include training, supervision and delegating duties on shift. You will also support with the administering and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessments, and liaising with GPs, district nursing teams and resident family members. Like everyone, as a Residential Senior Care Assistant, you’ll always respect the dignity and preferences of residents as well as playing your own part in creating an environment that’s warm, welcoming and vibrant.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join as a Residential Senior Care Assistant. You will have previous experience in a residential care setting along with proven team leadership skills and the ability to make appropriate decisions to support the needs and wellbeing of our clients' residents. Our client is looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities, so there’s no limit to how far you can go. Many of our clients' Senior Carer Assistants progress into Care Practitioners, Care Community Leads or on to nursing pathways.
