We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Vet Surgeon to join our team on a Maternity Cover basis and use your experience to help advise and support a team of Vets based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. We are open to discussing shift patterns, but ideally, you'll be joining on a 30-hour-a-week contract. Salary is up to £60k FTE, depending on experience, plus benefits.

We have digital x-ray, ultrasound, a separate dental table and area away from the prep room with dental x-ray due to be installed in the next couple of months! We have an up to date in-house laboratory so can run Biochemistry, Haematology, Urine tests and in-house Cytology. Alongside our facilities and specialist equipment, our friendly and experienced veterinary team provides the highest quality of veterinary care, surgery and treatment - along with regular check-ups and routine procedures.
We have a close-knit, friendly team that currently consists of 4 vets and a great mix of RVNs, SVNs, PCAs and Receptionists, all with a wealth of experience. We know as well as anyone that you consider your pet to be a member of your family. That is why the whole team here treat your pet as one of their own and works hard to provide the very best veterinary care services whilst working in a supportive environment.
Salary and rota: The successful Veterinary Surgeon will receive an attractive pro rata salary up to £60k, FTE, depending on experience. This is a part-time role working 30 hours a week but we are open to discuss other options to accommodate the right applicant. There will be no OOH required in this role.
