We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and develop. The Early Years Educator will be responsible for planning and implementing educational activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children in our nursery setting.

Duties:

  • Develop and implement engaging learning activities tailored to the needs of each child.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages children's curiosity and exploration.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's learning and development.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure the safety of all children at all times.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
  • Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive educational programme.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care and education within the nursery.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate children.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
  • Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their growth.
  • Desirable - Level 3 or above in Early Years Education.
