Crone Corkill are assisting a financial client as they look to bring in a personable 1st/2nd Line focused IT Support Analyst to the team on a permanent basis. They’re searching for someone who already has experience with VMware, O365 & AD to work within a close knit team and help push the IT function forward.
This is an office based role with an expectation to be in their City based office 5 days per week. If you do not have relevant experience working within the financial/banking industry, you’re unlikely to be considered.
What will you do as an IT Support Analyst?
- Work as the first point of call for incoming IT issues, provide excellent customer service and escalate when needed
- Connect virtual computers, allocate VMs, maintenance and technical configurations in accordance with training and documented procedures
- Provide technical support for the setup of telephones, voice recordings, meeting rooms, laptops, mobile device configuration, printers and scanners
- Handle full desktop set up and applications for all users, new joiners, movers and leavers
- Conduct VDI workstation/PC/laptops maintenance, installations and support
- Maintain desktop equipment - monitors, zero/thin client devices and phones
- Order and maintain stock of all IT equipment
- Maintain IT storage areas, ensuring they are tidy, accessible and all items are logged
What skills do you need to be an IT Support Analyst?
- Experience providing 1st/2nd Line Support in the financial/banking industry
- VMware (Horizon desirable)
- Active Directory/EntraID
- O365 admin
- Windows (2020, 2011) & Windows (2012, 2016 and Azure Cloud)
- Experience with hardware/software builds
- Experience with troubleshooting
- Understanding telecom systems (Mitel), home working solutions, MFA
What’s in it for you?
