Crone Corkill are now assisting a global Insurance firm in the recruitment of a Solution Architect at a very exciting time. The core purpose for this hire is for you to lead the design of their next-gen digital insurance platform through to its implementation.Working as a key part of the team, you\’ll design application, data, integration and deployment architectures to meet the needs of both the new platform and the business itself. This will be achieved by delivering scalable and secure experience for staff and customers.This is the first implementation being made within their new architecture blueprint, so you have a real opportunity to make a difference.Please note that it\’s essential to have relevant experience as a Solution Architect within the Insurance sector to be considered for this role.What will you do as a Solution Architect ?
- Take accountability for the development, agreement and maintenance of an end-to-end solution architecture for the project – Ensuring you meet business requirements and align to the overall blueprint
- Collaborate with stakeholders, tech SMEs and delivery organisations
- Work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team at a Group and Global level, resolving design issues and providing constructive feedback on the evolution of the blueprint
- Act as a bridge between business, technical teams and partner delivery organisation
- Ensure that the solution is compliant with BCP, security, data protection, and compliance policies
- Work with the project team, wider design community and Enterprise Architect to identify any solution or technical risks early, evaluate impact, and recommend mitigation strategies
- Produce clear and maintainable solution architecture artefacts
What skills do you need as a Solution Architect ?
- Solutions architecture experience within the Insurance sector
- Proven track record of designing high performing digital experiences in insurance for customers and staff
- Strong EIS/Guidewire or other Core Insurance platform provider expertise
- Strong Azure Integration technologies experience, including web services and API development (ideally with domain driven design exposure)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Service (including marketing automation technologies)
- Working knowledge of Amazon Connect Telephony technologies and integration to contact centre platforms
- Working knowledge of React or similar
- Working knowledge of Azure or similar
- Working knowledge of Stripe or similar payment solution provider
- Problem solving and analytical thinking, with the ability to break-down problems into logical steps/solutions
- Establishing deadlines and personal work plans
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
