We are looking for experienced recruitment consultants to join our exciting new specialist brand, launching as part of Tatton Recruitment Group, alongside the well-established Crone Corkill business. This is a rare opportunity to be involved at an early stage, helping shape a growing Accountancy & Finance desk within a values-led recruitment brand focused on quality, specialism and long-term relationships.
You will work on a dual Accountancy & Finance desk, with the autonomy to build your market and the backing of a proven group with strong infrastructure, reputation and support. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle, managing relationships with clients and candidates while delivering a high-quality, consultative service. This role suits someone who enjoys grown-up recruitment where credibility, market knowledge and relationships matter more than volume.
Key Responsibilities- Candidate Management
- Proactively source and engage Accountancy & Finance professionals, including passive candidates
- Conduct competency-based interviews and assess suitability for client environments
- Provide a high level of candidate care, from initial engagement through to post-placement support
- Build and maintain strong candidate networks to generate opportunities and referrals
- Confidently represent client opportunities with accurate and up-to-date market knowledge
- Develop and grow relationships with new and existing Accountancy & Finance clients
- Identify recruitment needs and provide informed, market-led advice
- Generate repeat and referral business through strong delivery and client service
- Proactively track market trends and advise clients accordingly
- Build credibility as a trusted recruitment partner rather than a transactional supplier
- Manage the full recruitment process from role briefing to successful placement
- Deliver clear communication and constructive feedback to both clients and candidates
- Negotiate offers and manage candidate onboarding
- Secure exclusive and high-quality roles wherever possible
- Build and execute a business growth plan within your chosen market
- Identify and develop new client opportunities
- Manage revenue delivery against agreed targets
- Build long-term client partnerships that generate sustained billing
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, within Accountancy & Finance
- A track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Commercially minded, organised and self-motivated
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated by quality delivery and long-term success, not short-term wins
