Crone Corkill is working on a rare opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join the renowned property disputes & enfranchisement team at a national law firm in their Soho office.
The Firm
Known for its tailored service offered to high-end clientele across the corporate & commercial sector, from global financial institutions to TV personalities, employment and property services. The team in question operates on a high input, high reward basis with an awareness of the importance of teamwork & humour along the way when working on high-value projects. The firm offers an inclusive work environment, socialable culture and excellent staff tenure that is reflected in this team. With a headcount of over 100 in their London office, the firm is growing and is looking for an experienced secretary to hit the ground running.
The Role
You will work in a team of two, on a hybrid basis, supporting five fee earners across a varied but fast-paced practice across the below duties:
- Diary management and booking in meetings for fee earners
- Processing dictations into legal documentation
- Monthly invoicing of clients
- Obtaining title documents from the Land Registry and assisting with Land Registry applications (training provided).
- Managing the onboarding of new clientele such as KYC documentation, AML forms and undertaking video verification calls
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory notices
- Processing incoming and outgoing funds
- Assisting with the completion of lease and freehold acquisition transactions
- Collating bundles for court & tribunals
About You
This is a unique role in a close-knit team with a great sense of humour.
- A minimum of three years working within Property Litigation or Enfranchisement
- A proactive, detail-oriented nature
- Previous exposure to managing various stages of property completions
- The ability to work in a fast paced practice
- Proficient in legal software ( iManage, BigHand, Outlook, Excel)
- Discreet and professional when handling confidential matters
- Permanent working rights to work in a full time capacity
