We are working with one of the world's leading financial institutions to appoint a Performance Media Specialist to cover a maternity leave. This is a pivotal role, sitting at the intersection of strategy, execution and leadership, with responsibility for shaping and delivering best-in-class performance media across multiple markets. You'll be based in London, operating with regional scope and influence, and working closely with local country teams, agencies and senior stakeholders across the business.
What you'll be doing:
- You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end performance media strategy across EMEA, spanning PPC, Display and Affiliate channels, ensuring activity is aligned to business objectives and delivers measurable impact.
- This is a hands-on, strategic role where you’ll balance planning, optimisation, performance analysis and leadership across markets.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing cross-market performance media strategies across PPC, Display and Affiliate channels
- Overseeing campaign planning, execution, optimisation and reporting to ensure KPIs and commercial objectives are met
- Acting as a key partner to country marketing teams, agencies and internal stakeholders across EMEA
- Managing budgets, forecasting performance and ensuring efficient and effective allocation of media spend
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies to continuously evolve strategy
- Supporting the Analytics team with tracking, attribution and measurement challenges, including MMM
- Providing leadership and guidance to junior media resources and local teams, ensuring consistency and best practice across markets
- Delivering clear performance updates, insights and recommendations to senior management
What you'll need:
You’ll be an experienced performance media leader, confident operating at VP level within a large, complex organisation. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience leading performance media across PPC, Display and Affiliates
- Strong knowledge of the EMEA media landscape and cross-market dynamics
- Experience working within large, matrixed or global organisations
- Excellent analytical capability, with experience using advanced measurement approaches including MMM
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior level
- Experience managing agencies and cross-functional teams
- A self-starting, delivery-focused mindset suited to a fast-paced environment
