We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Real Estate Paralegal to join a busy residential property team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced solicitors in a collaborative and supportive environment, gaining exposure across the full conveyancing lifecycle.
The Role
You will support a solicitor in managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions, assisting from initial instruction through to post-completion. This is a hands-on role offering client interaction and the chance to develop your technical knowledge within a respected legal practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the management of live conveyancing files from instruction to completion
- Handling file opening procedures and AML compliance checks
- Supporting exchange, completion, and post-completion formalities
- Drafting financial statements and invoices
- Submitting AP1 applications and SDLT returns
- Liaising with clients, agents, and third parties throughout transactions
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Providing general administrative and ad-hoc support to the team
Key Requirements
- Previous conveyancing experience within a legal environment (essential)
- A law degree or equivalent qualification (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
