We are partnering with a Series B, PE-backed RegTech and advisory business on the appointment of its first dedicated Legal Counsel hire.

Founded by leaders from Big 4 consulting and the financial services risk space, the organisation has experienced significant growth since launch, more than doubling headcount in recent years. The business works closely with financial institutions to help navigate increasingly complex regulatory expectations and reporting obligations.
This is a newly created, standalone legal position offering broad exposure across both the technology and consulting sides of the business. The successful individual will act as the key in-house legal voice and business partner, working closely with the Co-Founders and senior leadership team.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements
- Acting as an escalation point for contractual and legal risk matters
- Supporting the ongoing development and modernisation of legal documentation and processes
- Partnering closely with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business
Strong commercial contracts background gained either in-house or in private practice.
Comfortable working autonomously in a standalone legal role.
Able to balance legal risk with operational realities.
Academic background from a well-regarded university preferred.
Hybrid model: 4 days in office / 1 day WFH.
Flexible hours with core collaboration hours of approximately 9:30am–4:30pm.
