We are seeking an enthusiastic and relationship-driven Development and Alumni Relations Manager to play a central role in building a vibrant, engaged and supportive alumni and donor community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting people, cultivating relationships, and demonstrating the real impact of giving.
Working closely with the Development Director, you will help shape how the alumni and supporters are informed, thanked, recognised and celebrated, while driving income to support strategic priorities.
The Role
You will lead on alumni relations, regular and legacy giving, and stewardship. You will design and deliver a dynamic programme of communications and events to engage a diverse, global alumni community and encourage lifelong connection with the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Growing philanthropic support from the alumni community through regular giving and legacy giving fundraising appeals.
- Developing innovative strategies to target a wider audience and introduce new donors to the community.
- Acting as a relationship manager for regular donors and driving the legacy stewardship programme.
About you
- Experience of planning and implementing regular and legacy giving programmes or similar within a fundraising environment.
- Experience of working within an alumni/development function.
- Experience of delivering multi-channel communication and engagement plans including in person and online events.
- Experience of using databases, ideally Raisers Edge.
