Is this the role for you? Are you a newly Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA or equivalent) who is looking for a new challenge? I am working with an exceptional organisation which strives for best in practice standards in all that they do, to find a self-motivated and proactive Accountant to join their Corporate team. The office is based in Central London and the team is currently working on a hybrid basis with 3 days in the office.

What you will do:

  • Take responsibility for the financial management of a portfolio of UK, overseas and outsourced entities.
  • Consolidating monthly reporting from various sources.
  • Assist with planning and preparation of year-end statutory accounts and audit.
  • Working within prescribed guidelines (FCA, ISAE, SOx).
  • Prepare and assist with the regulatory filings (FCA).
  • Work with the tax team to resolve queries and issues.

What you will need:

  • A minimum 2.1 degree classification (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with up to 18 months PQE.
  • Ideally a background in Accountancy Practice with exposure to Financial Services firms (Private Equity, Banking, Asset Management).
  • Excellent time management with experience of dealing with multiple deadlines.
  • A strong desire to progress and develop your career.
