We are seeking an experienced Property Secretary to support a leading London Property team working across commercial, residential and mixed-use matters. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting multiple fee earners and playing a pivotal part in the smooth progression of transactions. If you enjoy working in a busy legal environment, managing high-value property matters, and coordinating completions with confidence and accuracy, this role will suit you well.
What you will do:
- You will assist with client onboarding, AML and KYC procedures, Land Registry applications, document preparation, engrossments, SDLT submissions, ordering searches, managing completions, preparing bills, and corresponding with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other solicitors.
- You will also handle dictations, assist with telephone duties, and support the team with both administrative and legal tasks as you develop.
What you’ll bring:
- You will have at least 2 years’ experience in a property legal secretarial role, with strong document production skills, familiarity with commercial and high-value residential workflows, and experience managing Land Registry and SDLT processes.
- You will be detail-focused, organised, confident managing multiple deadlines, and able to communicate professionally at all levels.
- Proficiency with tools such as iManage, BigHand, Outlook, and Excel is essential.
