A well-established London law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Property Legal Secretary to join its busy and successful property team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced lawyers on a varied caseload of commercial property and residential transactions, providing high-level secretarial and administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting fee earners with property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Managing Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions.
- Assisting with client onboarding, AML and compliance procedures.
- Preparing legal documents, correspondence, bills and completion packs.
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and third parties.
- Maintaining electronic files and ensuring matters progress efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a Property team.
- Strong understanding of conveyancing and property processes.
- Experience with Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with a professional and proactive approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy legal environment.
