About the Cromwell Hospital: The Cromwell Hospital is a major international private hospital in West London that receives both UK and international patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare outpatient and inpatient service care. The hospital has 180 beds and 4 suites, theatres, medical and surgical wards, cardiac centre, CDU, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostic services, physiotherapy, a dedicated day surgery unit, and a new cath lab.
Radiography Department Equipment:
- Two general X‑Ray rooms
- One fluoroscopy suite, which can also be utilised as an additional X‑Ray room
- One Cone Beam CT scanner
- One Bone Density scanner with advanced body composition analysis capabilities
- Two state‑of‑the‑art mobile X‑Ray units
- Four theatre image intensifiers
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Superintendent Radiographer, you will provide high standards of service to our patients. The department is extremely busy therefore you’ll be organised, proactive, and able to work well under pressure in a complex environment, having adaptability and sensitivity to work within a diverse environment. You will have significant post‑qualification experience as an MRI Radiographer (evident on your CV).
Duties:
- Perform high quality examinations as required by referring physicians, in line with departmental policies and procedures whilst ensuring that all patients being investigated receive a high standard of care.
- Ensure patient confidentiality is not breached.
- Report all incidents.
- Familiarise yourself with and observe the Local Rules pertaining to radiation protection (IRMER 2017) and the Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999 for the protection of persons against ionising radiation arising from any work activity.
- Be familiar with the Safety Guidelines – MHRA Guidelines.
