As the Radiographer, you'll be working in Cardiac Services supporting and delivering high standard diagnostic imaging in the Cath Lab. We pride ourselves on having exceptional high professional standards to ensure the best journey for our patients.
About The Cromwell Hospital: The Cromwell Hospital is a major international private hospital in West London providing care to both UK and international patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare outpatient and inpatient service care. The hospital has 180 beds and 4 suites, theatres, medical and surgical wards, cardiac centre, CDU, urgent care centre, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostic services, pharmacy on-site, physiotherapy, a dedicated day surgery unit, and a new cath lab.
About The Unit: Some of the procedures performed in our services include: Ablations, Coronary angiograms and angioplasties, Cardiac Devices insertion/removal, PFO closure, TAVI, EVAR, Prostate embolization, Fibroid embolization, Varicocele embolization, Lower limb angiogram/angioplasties, PTC, Cerebral angiogram and Cerebral aneurism embolization.
You'll help us make health happen by:
- Maintaining a high standard of imaging and patient care in accordance with the departmental and hospital quality standards.
- Performing all types of IR, cardiac and neuro procedures as required by referring Physicians according to departmental policies and procedures.
- Demonstrating significant evidence of cardiac expertise and angiographic knowledge to meet with the expectations of the interventional consultants.
- Accurately analysing the acquired data, recording results and producing high quality images for reporting.
- Being fully conversant with the Radiology Management System, PACS, and the computerised method of patient and examination documentation.
- Having a good understanding of clinical and non-clinical governance, and adhering to hospital governance policies.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Angiography specific radiology qualification/certificate (desirable)
- Relevant post-grad experience in an Angiography Lab (essential)
- PAC's Trained (essential)
- CT Trained (essential)
