This vacancy is for our 10:00am-6.30pm shift at our World Distribution Centre. Please only apply if you are able to work this shift.
This role will require you to be on your feet for the entirety of your shift. You will have your normal breaks, but when you\’re working you will be walking and manual handling will be required when lifting and packing boxes.
Starting Hourly Rate – £12.27 p/h paid salaried.
Contractual Hours – 39
Days of Work – Monday to Friday (No nights and occasional weekends during busy periods).
Shift Allowance – The one hour worked between 6pm-7pm will pay a shift allowance of 25% additional.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our team in the World Distribution Centre.
What will you do on a normal day?
- Handle product safely with a high degree of accuracy.
- Adhere to all stock management processes and procedures.
- Achieve all set standards and achieve KPI targets set for the department.
- Safely operate and / or work in the vicinity of many types of equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, pick trucks, battery changing – equipment, electric carousels, conveyor lines, etc.. Without risk to self or other employees.
- Maintain housekeeping requirements and perform basic sanitation duties to ensure a clean environment.
- Ensure that all relevant work Instructions are carried out within your department.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
- Fulfil training programs deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience working in a Warehouse environment (desirable).
- Ability to use smart technology including handheld devices and basic PC skills.
- Understanding of stock management systems and procedures (desirable).
- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate positive behaviours to all colleagues
- Ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to deliver high personal performance standards consistently and with a positive approach to tasks and people.
- Able to follow manual handling processes.
