We now have a fantastic opportunity available to join us as a Digital Business Analyst within our Digital department. Within this department we have a hybrid approach to location, part-time remote and part-time on site at our Digital Hub in Leicester.
This role will suit an experienced Business Analyst who is able to gather, assess and validate requirements from a range of stakeholders. You will work closely with cross functional teams including development, UX, marketing, customer services and Cromwell Management to help shape and deliver an online experience that makes our customers lives easier.
What will you do on a normal day?
- Gather business and customer requirements to support the development of digital features from concept to launch.
- Represent customers and business stakeholders throughout the development process by creating and championing stories that reflect business goals.
- Evaluate as is and to be processes, identifying opportunities to simplify or improve them
- Assist in the analysis of performance data to understand the value and priority of prospective new features.
- Use Agile best practices, work closely with the design and development team to wireframe, proof of concept and implement new functionality efficiently.
- Plan, arrange and execute workshops with key stakeholders as part of the requirements gathering process
- Support end to end testing (including web and mobile) to ensure the new features meet the customers’ and business’ needs.
- Supporting training documentation for end users and team members
What are we looking for?
- Previous demonstrable experience as a digital business analyst or equivalent.
- Proven experience of working closely with development teams in an Agile environment, Agile or Scrum training and qualifications a bonus.
- Experience within e-commerce and retail, especially within a B2B or industrial supplies area.
- Strong analytical and technical aptitude, with knowledge of APIs and SQL a bonus.
- Ability to think through complex business problems, solve them by analysing data, and then communicate these in simple, straightforward manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organisational skills with the capability of prioritising own workload towards meet agreed deadlines.
- The ability to work in a team and individually.
- Passion for digital and an awareness of best practices, trends, and opportunities.
