Your main responsibilities will be to develop, write, and edit detailed, clear, and persuasive proposals, tenders, and quotations in response to client requirements and tender documents ahead of final submission.
The Role
You will play a key role in helping to win and retain business contracts by crafting persuasive and tailored proposals. Your main purpose will be to translate Cromwell’s strengths, services, and ambitions into a compelling case, as set out by the specific tender requirements given. This will involve understanding the customer’s needs, collaborating with key stakeholders, writing clearly and persuasively while ensuring compliance to the bid specification is adhered to.
What will you do on a normal day?
- Complete Request for Information (RFI) for new business tenders
- Develop and write bespoke narrative documents, using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
- Manage narrative library via Microsoft OneNote, adding and amending content that supports the narrative process
- Manage key stakeholder relationships with subject matter experts across the business, to ensure content is accurate and aligned with the business’ goals and reality
What are we looking for?
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Illustrator (Essential)
- Critical writing skills / attention to detail
- Managing timelines & keeping others on track
- Strong stakeholder management skills
