Overview

As an Accounts Apprentice at Cromwell Polythene Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance team with various accounting tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the company\’s financial activities. This apprenticeship is designed to provide you with a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices while allowing you to gain hands-on experience within the finance department. Role and Responsibilities

  • Support daily banking, cash flow monitoring and reconciliation
  • Assisting with credit control and routine cash collection
  • Respond to finance queries from sales
  • Updating and maintaining the accounting system to ensure accurate financial data
  • Assisting with month-end closing procedures
  • Engaging in bookkeeping activities and record-keeping
  • Any other finance-related duties as assigned by the finance team

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Excellent GCSE results in Maths and English (Grade 6 or above)

Cromwell Polythene offers a Cromwell Curriculum that ensures new starters gain internal qualifications through modular learning. This role will also involve a formal training programme to develop your accounting skills.
