Cromwell Medical Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Band 5 NICU Registered Nurse to join one of our leading NHS clients in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled neonatal nurse to provide high-quality care within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialised nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns
- Monitor vital signs, assess clinical conditions, and respond promptly to changes
- Administer medications and follow care plans in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Work collaboratively with neonatologists, paediatricians, and the wider MDT
- Support parents and families with guidance, education, and emotional care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to all safeguarding and infection-control policies
Requirements
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years of experience in NICU
- Strong clinical skills within Level 2 or Level 3 neonatal settings
- Competent in neonatal resuscitation and emergency response
- Right to work in the UK
- Up-to-date clinical training (e.g., BLS, NLS)
