Job Description
We are currently recruiting an experienced Band 5 Registered Nurse to join a busy Urgent & Emergency Care team on the beautiful Isle of Man. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse looking to develop their emergency care experience while enjoying a fantastic work-life balance in a supportive NHS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergency conditions.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with NMC guidelines and local policies.
- Monitor patients' conditions, recognise deterioration, and elevate concerns appropriately.
- Work collaboratively with emergency physicians, consultants, advanced practitioners, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure safe, effective patient care at all times.
Requirements
- Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum of 12 months' post‑registration experience within an Urgent & Emergency Care, A&E, or Acute Care setting.
- Previous NHS experience is desirable.
- Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
