Cromwell Medical Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Band 5/6 Neonatal Registered Nurse to join one of our leading NHS clients in Barnsley. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled neonatal nurse to provide high-quality care within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialised nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns
  • Monitor vital signs, assess clinical conditions, and respond promptly to changes
  • Administer medications and follow care plans in accordance with clinical guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with neonatologists, paediatricians, and the wider MDT
  • Adhere to all safeguarding and infection-control policies

Requirements

  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in Neonatal Department
  • Strong clinical skills within Level 2 or Level 3 neonatal settings
  • Competent in neonatal resuscitation and emergency response
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Up-to-date clinical training (e.g., BLS, NLS)
