Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Band 6 Registered Nurse specialising in Chemotherapy to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide specialised nursing care to patients undergoing chemotherapy treatments, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well‐being throughout their treatment journey. Duties
Administer chemotherapy and other intravenous medications following prescribed protocols with precision and care.
Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during and after treatment sessions, recognising any adverse reactions promptly.
Educate patients and their families about chemotherapy procedures, potential side effects, and self‐care strategies.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organisational policies.
Requirements
NMC Registered Nurse
Must be SACT trained and have recent experience of SACT administration
Experience managing complex cases and supporting multidisciplinary teams
Right to work in the UK
