Job DescriptionCromwell Medical Staffing is currently recruiting Band 5 Paediatric Nurses to support paediatric wards across Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity for paediatric nurses to work in supportive and engaging environments.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for children and young people with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions.

Administer medications and treatments safely in line with NMC guidelines and hospital policies.

Monitor patients\’ vital signs, clinical conditions, and progress, responding promptly to any deterioration.

Family & Child Support

Communicate effectively and sensitively with children, parents, and carers.

Offer emotional support, education, and reassurance to families throughout the care process.

Encourage parental involvement in decision-making and bedside care where appropriate.
