Theatre Practitioner Anaesthetics - ODP/RGN at Cromwell Hospital, London, SW5 0TU.
Permanent position with a salary of £37,080 to £46,890 per annum plus fantastic benefits. Full Time: 37.5 hours a week with a shift pattern from Monday to Saturday, including additional shift enhancements for weekend working.

Our main adult theatre is a busy and dynamic environment, setting the benchmark for clinical excellence with 6 operating suites catering for various specialities.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
- Providing assistance to the consultants during all surgical procedures whether under local/regional/sedation/general anaesthetic.
- Assisting in the positioning and preparation of a patient as directed by the surgical team and ensuring that any specimens are correctly labelled and dispatched to the laboratory.
- Preparing patients for clinical/operative procedures and providing immediate post-operative care.
- Taking charge of the clinical area in the absence of an advanced practitioner, ensuring the safety of patients, visitors and staff.
- Participating fully as a team member, including working in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues.
- Helping to control cross infection by observing departmental policy regarding dress, maintenance of a clean working environment, decontamination and sterilisation procedures and asepsis.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- You must hold a relevant ODP / Anaesthetic Nurse qualification (HCPC / ADULT RGN).
- Post-registration experience within Anaesthetics.
- Minimum of 2 years recent UK experience in Anaesthetics.
- Ability to deliver high standards of care.
