You’ll help us make health happen by:
- Competent to perform a wide range of procedures, as well as sleep and breathing tests on paediatrics and adults:
- Lung Function Tests with Reversibility
- Skin prick allergy testing
- 6MWT
- Respiratory Polygraphies (set-up, analysis and reporting)
- Polysomnography (set up, analysis and reporting)
- Initiation, support and troubleshooting of ventilation (CPAP/NIV)
- Respiratory Muscle Strength Assessment
- Exercise Induced Bronchial Provocation
- Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing
- Bronchial Provocation Studies (Mannitol and Methacholine)
- Hyperventilation and Dysfunctional breathing (HPVT)
- Fitness-to-Fly assessments (HCT)
Key skills needed for this role:
- Competency in an array of conventional Lung Function tests
- High level of technical and operational knowledge within a Lung Laboratory
- Ability to analyse and interpret respiratory polygraphy
- Interest in working with paediatric patients
Qualifications:
- BSc Degree in Clinical Physiology / Healthcare Science (essential)
