About The Cromwell Hospital
The Cromwell Hospital is a major international private hospital in West London receiving both UK and international patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare outpatient and inpatient service care. The hospital has 180 beds and 4 suites, theatres, medical and surgical wards, cardiac centre, CDU, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostic services, physiotherapy, a dedicated day surgery unit, and a new cath lab. Our new modern Radiography department is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology to include:
- Two general X-Ray rooms
- One fluoroscopy suite, which can also be utilised as an additional X-Ray room
- One Cone Beam CT scanner
- One Bone Density scanner with advanced body composition analysis capabilities
- Two state-of-the-art mobile X-Ray units
- Four theatre image intensifiers
How you'll help us make health happen
As a Senior I Radiographer, you will rotate between CT and General X‑ray, performing high‑quality examinations while ensuring every patient receives an exceptional standard of care. You will:
- Deliver high‑quality CT and X‑ray imaging according to departmental protocols
- Support and lead the team during shifts, including deputising for the Superintendent when required
- Participate in out-of-hours, night, weekend, and on‑call rotas
- Train and mentor junior radiographers and new starters
- Carry out clinical audits and support equipment QA processes
- Ensure safe practice in accordance with IR(ME)R 2017, IRR17 and local rules
- Work both independently and collaboratively in a busy and fast‑paced environment
Essential
- BSc/Diploma in Radiography
- HCPC Registration
- Significant CT experience (minimum 2 years)
- Strong general X‑ray experience
- Excellent communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast‑paced clinical setting
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Desirable
- Evidence of CPD
- Postgraduate Certificate in CT
- Siemens CT experience
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience
