Contract
Permanent – Fixed Term 1 Year Maternity Cover, 37.50 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the radiology nursing team.
- Ensure delivery of exceptional patient care across all radiological procedures.
- Create a positive, high‑performing environment where multidisciplinary teamwork thrives.
- Oversee departmental rotas, appraisals, recruitment, performance and daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, CQC standards, radiation protection and infection control.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives, audits and service development.
- Support patient concerns, complaints and service feedback (including NPS).
- Ensure equipment, resources and pharmaceutical supplies are efficiently managed.
- Maintain robust governance standards and safe working practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Registered Adult Nurse with a BSc or currently working towards one.
- Current ILS (Immediate Life Support) certificate (essential).
- Post‑graduate qualification in Radiology nursing or equivalent (desirable).
