About The Cromwell Hospital: The Cromwell Hospital is a major international private hospital in West London receiving both UK and international patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare outpatient and inpatient service care. The hospital has 180 beds and 4 suites, theatres, medical and surgical wards, cardiac centre, CDU, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, outpatient, pharmacy, diagnostic services, physiotherapy, a dedicated day surgery unit, and a new cath lab.
Our new modern Radiography department is equipped with the latest state‐of‐the‐art technology to include:
- One fluoroscopy suite, which can also be utilised as an additional X‐Ray room
- One Cone Beam CT scanner
- One Bone Density scanner with advanced body composition analysis capabilities
- Four theatre image intensifiers
What you will be doing: You will be based in the CT department with the primary aim of leading the department on a daily basis, whilst liaising closely with the General X‐ray & CT Superintendent to maintain and enhance the CT imaging service and offering to our patients and stakeholders. A flexible and adaptive working attitude is crucial, along with a willingness to participate in the On‐Call service.
As the CT Lead Radiographer, you will work as part of a multi‐disciplinary team in the Diagnostic Directorate - showing flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality service. Establishing good working relationships with all areas of the wider hospital is essential.
You will be working with a team of Senior and Superintendent Radiographers to provide high standards of service to all of Cromwell's customers. The department can be very busy and the job holder must be able to work well under pressure in a complex environment.
Also, as the CT Lead Radiographer, you will be performing a variety of CT examinations including full body imaging, neurological, cardiac and biopsy procedures, as well as some specialist orthopaedic imaging.
You must have substantial CT Experience (minimum of 5 years) with Cardiac CT experience.
Qualifications/Experience:
- BSc/Diploma in Radiography
- HCPC Registration
- Significant CT experience (minimum 5 years)
- Excellent communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast‐paced clinical setting
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Evidence of CPD
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience
