Hours: Full time / 37.50 hours per week (Mon‑Fri)

The Cromwell Hospital is a major international private hospital in West London that receives both UK and international patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare outpatient and inpatient service care.

You’ll make this happen by:

  • Being responsible for the delivery of a coordinated breast care service within Cromwell hospital and clinic sites.
  • Providing a link between Hospital, Patients, Consultant and other service users.
  • Coordinating patient registration, preparation of outpatient accounts, receipting payment for hospital services, booking follow up appointments and further diagnostic examinations utilizing RIS and reconciling the performed imaging requests with Compucare.
  • Interacting with patients, consultants, staff and visitors in a way that creates an experience in accordance with the BUPA code: putting customers at the centre of the service.
  • Ensuring there is radiologist and surgical cover for all breast pathway sessions at Cromwell, Basinghall and Canary Wharf, escalating concerns to the breast services lead or divisional manager as appropriate.
  • Attending fortnightly breast services meetings raising any clinical or operational concerns.
  • Coordinating a patient journey across multiple sites to ensure timely diagnostics.
  • Ensuring all patients who have undergone biopsies have results returned and escalating any non‑returns as appropriate in line with service KPIs.
  • Monitoring utilisation of breast clinics across sites and alerting any areas of concern to management.
  • Training administrative staff in supporting one‑stop breast clinics offering support with RIS, BOSS and compucare training where needed.
  • Being fully conversant in all areas of Reception and covering where needed; either Main Reception or other areas where patients are “arrived” in a department.
  • Actively meeting and greeting patients and visitors in a warm, respectful and courteous manner at all times.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Qualified to A‑level standard
  • Healthcare administration experience (essential)
  • Use of BOSS and SECTRA PACS/RIS (Desirable)
  • Managing Complaints and concerns (essential)
  • Proven experience of delivering customer services to an exceptionally high standard.
  • Delivery of training
