This role is based in the newly established Radiography department at Cromwell Hospital, housing the latest technology and offering an excellent environment for clinical leadership and professional development. You will work with a state‑of‑the‑art department that includes a fluoroscopy suite, a cone‑beam CT scanner, a bone density scanner, and four theatre image intensifiers.
How you’ll help us make health happen: The General X‑Ray and Theatre Lead Radiographer will have responsibility for planning and delivery of current and future services that are responsive to the needs of patients and the organisation, within available resources, underpinned by relevant specialist knowledge and skills. You’ll provide clinical expertise, operational and strategic business planning and leadership to the Theatre, Fluoroscopy, and general Radiology Department at Cromwell Hospital, creating a positive and inclusive culture and environment for staff and patients, delivering high quality care and outstanding service.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- State Registered Radiographer with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) – essential
- Substantial postgraduate experience in radiology at a senior level – essential
- Membership of appropriate professional body and/or clinical interest group
