Location: New Victoria Hospital KT2 7EG
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift pattern: 7.5 hour shifts between 9AM - 5PM
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum

As an IT Systems Engineer you will be responsible for installation and maintenance of server, network and other hardware and applications to ensure the smooth running of the hospital's computer systems.
How you'll help us make health happen:
- Maintain existing IT infrastructure.
- Ensure all software updates are done regularly and securely.
- Assist with implementation of new hardware and software.
- Ensure all equipment is secure.
- Provide 3rd line support to colleagues.
- Provide training on new and existing systems to colleagues.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Experience in an IT Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or Systems Administrator role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, or similar virtualization technologies.
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience supporting cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
