We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our branch. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll organise and supervise staff within the warehouse to ensure that the Warehouse operates safely and efficiently at all times.

What would you do on a normal day?

  • Ensure that all warehouse staff are aware of their responsibilities, monitoring staff performance and providing relevant support.
  • Maintain stock integrity.
  • Keep the warehouse area clean and safe, mitigating any health and safety risks.
  • Ensure that all goods are stored and transported in a safe and correct manner, in line with regulatory responsibilities.
  • Ensure that the warehouse and trade counter are clean, safe and efficiently operated.
  • Ensure that all company vans are clean, roadworthy and correctly serviced at all times.
  • Take responsibility for recording van mileages accurately on a daily basis and ensuring fleet usage aligns with the Company Vehicle Policy.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of industrial supplies (highly advantageous).
  • Self-motivated with a dedicated approach.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • A full and valid driving license (essential).
  • A current forklift license (desirable).
  • Experience of using IT systems and confidence with technology.
