We are looking for a Stores Assistant to work on one of customer sites in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.

What will you do on a normal day?

  • Contribute to the effective working of the onsite Maintenance and Consumables Stores.
  • Stock replenishing and picking orders.
  • Booking stock in/out via our computerised system.
  • Ensure that all Vending Solutions on site are stocked with the correct level of product.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all external and internal customers.
  • Assist with Continuous Improvement project within Stores.
  • Daily restocking of all vending machines on site.
  • Accurately book out items from the stores.
  • Receipt deliveries into computer systems within an agreed timescale.
  • Work with management team to reduce Stock Outs to customer.
  • Processing of returned items to the stores.
  • Engage in Plant/Production Critical spares management process.
  • Adhere to all stock management processes and procedures.
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Perform any reasonable task in line with management instruction.
  • Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
  • Fulfil training programs deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development.
  • Promote health and safety in line with Cromwell’s and Customer Health & Safety Policy within the site operation and report all cases of non-conformance.
