As our new HR Advisor, you'll work alongside one of our HR Business Partners to deliver a proactive, commercially focused HR service across our UK and EMEA operations. Supporting managers across multiple countries, you'll provide practical guidance on a broad range of people matters, helping to ensure a positive colleague experience while balancing business needs with local employment legislation and company policies.
Working collaboratively with the wider HR team, you'll support employee relations, recruitment, organisational change and workforce planning activities, while using people data and insight to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional looking to broaden their international HR experience within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Partner with an HR Business Partner to provide pragmatic HR advice and support to managers across the UK and EMEA.
- Support the management of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, investigations and performance matters, ensuring compliance with local legislation and company policies.
- Provide guidance to managers on recruitment, performance management, organisational change and day-to-day people matters.
- Analyse workforce data, including absence, turnover and employee relations trends, providing insight to support business decisions and continuous improvement.
- Support organisational change initiatives, consultations and employee communications across the business.
- Build strong relationships with managers and colleagues, coaching and supporting them to apply HR best practice with confidence.
What do I need to be successful in this role?
- Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting employee relations cases and providing practical HR guidance to managers.
- Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation, with exposure to supporting HR activities across EMEA being highly desirable.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and coach managers at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and balance competing priorities.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) would be advantageous.
