  • To drive the ISO 14001 certification for the group.
  • To develop and maintain Company Compliance with EU regulations in respect to WEE, batteries waste and packaging
  • To constantly review the Environmental aspects and impacts of the business and to help in establishing targets and objectives to reduce those impacts.
  • Creating and maintaining a register of Environmental legislation
  • Coordinate the packaging waste regulations process
  • To facilitate and manage battery recycling programme
  • To drive all recycling programmes for the organisation through trusted partnerships
  • To perform ISO14001 internal audits and facilitate all environmental NC’s and OBS.
  • To manage all environmental policies and procedures inc coordinating that out to the branch network
  • Compliance with all company policies, processes, work instructions and any other management system.
  • Compliance with any other reasonable management request.
  • To provide training and awareness on all ESG requirements
  • Support Ecovardis and IIE accreditations
  • Support all compliance in-box tasks
  • Be agile across all ISO & compliance functions to support the wider team.

Role Requirements

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Intermediate Microsoft office skills
  • Strong Administration and organisational skills
  • Ability to influence and drive programme changes
  • Customer focused interpersonal skills

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • IEMA Qualification – preferred not essential
  • Internal Auditor – prepared to offer training
  • Proven Environmental background
  • Up to date knowledge of WEEE, COSH, ROHS. REACH
  • Clean driving license & willingness to travel
