  • Commercial Specialist

, you'll play a key role in supporting Cromwell's commercial strategy by delivering accurate pricing, insightful analysis and commercially focused recommendations that help drive profitable growth.

You'll ensure our pricing remains competitive, consistent and aligned to customer and business needs, while supporting bids, tenders and pricing decisions across the organisation.

Working closely with Category, Marketing and Customer Account Management teams, you'll use data to influence commercial decisions, optimise pricing strategies and identify opportunities to improve profitability.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys solving problems, working collaboratively and making a tangible impact on business performance.

Some of your key responsibilities

  • Manage customer, website and campaign pricing, ensuring accuracy and alignment with commercial strategy.
  • Analyse pricing data and provide recommendations that support profitability and customer competitiveness.
  • Support customer RFQs, bids and tenders by developing commercially sound pricing proposals.
  • Collaborate with Category and Marketing teams to deliver pricing reviews and promotional activity.
  • Maintain competitor pricing and product matching data to support informed commercial decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, governance and overall commercial performance.

What do I need to be successful in this role?

  • Experience within a commercial support, pricing or analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of pricing strategies and profitability.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a process-driven approach.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with SQL, Python or other analytical tools would be advantageous.
