We are looking for a Cleaner to join the site team at Cromwell Community College, playing an important part in maintaining a clean, secure and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors. This role is about taking pride in high standards, working reliably as part of a wider team and understanding that care, consistency and attention to detail really matter. You will be supported to work confidently within clear routines, contribute positively to the life of the school and help ensure the spaces our young people learn in reflect the respect we have for them and their education.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the school, including classrooms, offices and shared facilities.
- Carry out routine and periodic cleaning tasks safely, following agreed procedures and timescales.
- Prepare and reset rooms and work areas to support daily school activities.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, storing equipment and chemicals correctly.
- Report faults, safety concerns or maintenance issues promptly and work cooperatively with the site team.
