Role Description: This is a full-time role for a Trainee Locksmith based in Brighton. Responsibilities include:
- Key Cutting
- Assisting with installing and repairing locks
- Conducting routine maintenance
- Performing locksmithing tasks under supervision
- Learning and applying skills in millwork, welding, and other repair and maintenance-related activities
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and training in a professional and supportive environment. You will also spend time on the road with our engineers.
Qualifications:
- Foundational understanding or a willingness to learn Locksmithing practices and techniques
- Familiarity with basic Maintenance and Repair work
- Knowledge of or interest in Welding and metalwork processes
- Skills or experience in Millwork and related tasks
- Ability to work diligently on-site and adapt to various technical challenges
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and engage in professional training
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally, if required
